For its second season, the Consort laurentien invites you on a three-concert journey through the Germanic world in the 17th century, from the Austrian Alps to the shores of the Baltic and the North Sea.

The Thirty Years’ War in Leipzig, Dresden and Magdeburg

Our last programme highlights the inventiveness of Saxon composers in the face of strife and austerity during the brutal Thirty Years’ War.

For this final concert, the Consort laurentien is pleased to welcome famed British tenor Charles Daniels.
